Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026.
WAB2 processes the information needed to operate the chat: account and profile data, password hashes, messages, contacts, reports and basic technical records such as IP address, device information and security logs.
How information is used
Information is used for account access, message delivery, profile display, abuse prevention, moderation, troubleshooting and service stability.
For account security and clone-abuse investigation, WAB2 places a first-party HttpOnly device cookie. After a successful sign-in or registration, a one-way hash of its random value may be linked to the account together with first/last login times, login count, a hashed User-Agent and browser language. This does not use JavaScript, screen resolution, fonts, canvas or advertising trackers. A match is a security signal and is not by itself proof that two accounts belong to the same person.
If your browser supports notifications and you allow them, WAB2 stores a browser push subscription and a random first-party installation identifier. Before sign-in it may be used for general WAB2 notifications; after sign-in the same browser subscription may be associated with your account for the notification choices you select. Each browser or device has its own subscription. You can disable it in Notification settings or in your browser. Expired browser subscriptions are removed.
Visibility
Profile information is visible to signed-in users. Private messages are available only to their participants.
Sharing and retention
WAB2 does not sell personal data. Infrastructure providers may process limited information required to operate the service. Records may remain temporarily in security logs and backups after account changes.
The in-site Delete account action is reversible deactivation: it hides the profile and disables chat actions while retaining account data so the owner can restore access. A request for permanent erasure can be sent through Contact. Messages, reports or records may still be retained when required for other participants, abuse prevention, security or legal compliance.
Your choices
Do not place sensitive information in your profile or messages. Use Contact for privacy questions or data requests.
