Chat Sites: Choose a Format That Fits Your Conversation
Before joining a chat site, decide what you want from it: one person to write to, a group discussing a subject, a partner assigned at random or a connection you can return to. Those are different experiences, even when each service uses the word “chat.”
WAB2 offers searchable adult member profiles, direct text messages and member-created rooms accessed by a six-digit invitation code. A free account is required for member search and messaging. There is no public room directory, automatic partner assignment or live video roulette.

Core search and text messaging do not require Premium. Contact settings and anti-spam limits still apply, and members choose whether to reply.

Location, languages and ages are member-provided, not verified. A recorded visit is not a promise of availability or a reply.
First Check How a Conversation Starts
Look for the actual entry route, not just a “start chatting” button. Does the service let you choose a profile, assign a partner, open a public discussion or ask you for an invitation? Check whether the conversation uses text, live audio or video before sharing camera or microphone access.
On WAB2 you sign in, search profiles and choose whom to message. No mutual like is required, but a visible profile does not guarantee you can contact it. If you are comparing that choice with partner assignment, see the random-chat alternative.
Decide Between One Person and a Group
A direct conversation is addressed to one other person; a group has a shared audience. Before joining a group, find out who can enter, who manages it and what earlier messages newcomers can read. “Private room” is not enough information on its own.
WAB2 rooms are created by members and joined with a valid six-digit code after signing in. They are not public topic lobbies, and new participants can read available earlier history. If that format suits your group, the group-chat guide explains how to create or join one.
Check What Other Members See
Distinguish your public profile from the information a service keeps. A nickname does not mean there is no account record or that messages disappear. Also ask whether profile details are verified or supplied by the member.
On WAB2, both Name and Nickname can appear in your profile, so use non-identifying labels if you do not want to publish your full name. Your email address is not displayed to other members, although its verification status is. WAB2 processes account and message data; read the Privacy Policy for the handling of those records.
Compare Free Actions, Not Just the Word Free
Separate signing up from sending messages. Then check whether ordinary use needs a subscription, whether extras are optional and whether contact or anti-spam rules still apply.
WAB2 registration, a basic profile, member search, core text messages, Contacts, Ignore and Report are available without buying Premium. Premium adds extras such as larger file limits, more profile photos and visibility controls. The free online chat guide sets out that distinction without treating free access as unlimited permission to contact everyone.

Know How to Limit or End Contact
Look for a way to stop an unwanted exchange, report behaviour and control incoming messages. Those tools are useful, but they do not establish that everyone is genuine or that every message is checked before you see it.
On WAB2 you can use Ignore and Report, and contact preferences can restrict who starts a new conversation. Keep passwords, financial information and identity documents private. Never send money to an online contact. Read the safer chat checklist before sharing more than an everyday introduction.
When WAB2 Fits and When It Does Not
WAB2 may fit if you want to read about adult members first, choose someone to write to and return to a conversation at your own pace. It runs in a browser and does not require an app download for that use.
It is not the right format for an automatically assigned live partner, a public room directory or guest chat without registration. Members have different goals, including conversation and meeting, so state your purpose rather than assuming a non-dating community or guaranteed friendship.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use WAB2 without installing an app?
Yes. WAB2 works in a browser. You need an account for member search and messaging, but you do not need to install an app to use those features.
Does free access include sending messages?
Yes. Registration, member search and core text messages do not require Premium. Optional paid extras are separate, and contact settings and anti-spam limits can still prevent a new message.
Can I browse public chat rooms on WAB2?
WAB2 does not provide a public room directory. Members create rooms and share six-digit invitation codes; you sign in and enter a valid code to join. You can use profile search for a direct conversation instead.
Do member profiles prove who someone is?
No. Profile details are supplied by members and are not proof of identity, intentions or compatibility. Protect personal information and use Ignore or Report when contact becomes unwanted or concerning.
